Syracuse Alumnae Chapter hosts a variety of other events outside of those tied to our Five Point Programmatic Thrusts.
FOUNDERS DAY

Each year SAC starts the year off by celebrating twenty-two women’s dream of something greater. The Delta Day Party celebrates the principles of public service, scholarship, sisterhood, and the founding of our sorority.
Every other year, the sorority participates in a re-dedication and reaffirmation of the sorority’s founding principles. This is also a chance to pay homage to the twenty two women who had a vision and a dream of creating the greatest public social service organization.
DELTA GALA

A semi-formal social gathering held in February. The evening consists of networking, dinner, and dancing. Proceeds benefit the Delta Torch Foundation and the Syracuse community.
MAY WEEK

May Week Awards: Started locally in 1975, the purpose of this annual event is threefold: to raise the consciousness of young people about the importance of higher education and scholastic achievement; to recognize our scholarship recipients, and to honor women and organizations who have contributed significantly to the Syracuse Community.
Community Partners: Dunbar Association and Cafe Sankofa
